I could not get apcupsd to recognize that there was a ups attached to my 509 and could not get apcupsd on the 209 to talk to the 509 (this was reported as a bug on another thread by Mr FixIt). I did some investigating and discoverd that apcupsd is looking for a hid driver to talk to the ups. QNAP is using the usbfs driver to talk to the ups.
